One of Tongas biggest tradtion is feasts! They can have up to 30 different meals layed out on long displays of woven coconut fronds. Food is typically cooked in a traditional underground style of oven known as an Umu.

On special occasions Lú may also be served, a dish of chopped meat, onions and coconut milk wrapped in taro and banana leaves served with vegetables.

For people going on our 9am diving trips, there will be food and tupperware containers available at the breakfast bar to make yourself a packed lunch with. These are then stored on the boat along with plenty of fresh drinking water.

Just make sure you return the boxes afterwards to be re-used!
